TRANSLATIONS OF STORIES AND POEMS

"I sometimes translate poems or short stories.  I have
worked with Professor  Reuven Snir (Haifa University),
for whom I also do editing, to put together an anthology
of short stories by early Iraqi modern writers with
Introduction.  The translated stories are of a secular
nature; they are written in the spoken and literary
language of the writers, Arabic" - Aviva

Translation of a short story entitled HIS TRAGEDY, A

English . . . English Literature.”
He looked at me and then at my picture,
again at me and said:
“Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
